The history of this suite
The Coach House is exactly what its name says: the building where the carriages and horses were kept, and where a blacksmith once worked. The vent from the forge is still preserved in the stonework.
It is connected to the main property by a thirty-foot stone wall with its original gated carriage openings, and it has warm pine floors, rustic barn beams and exposed stone throughout.
Taken as a whole it gives a family or a group of friends an entire historic building to themselves, a few steps across the courtyard from the main house.
