The history of this suite
The Garden Suite runs along the ground floor at the back of the building, where the original carriage openings once let horses and carts through the stone wall.
Those carriage doors are still in place, and the stone passageway beside them has been opened up into the suite. Custom stained-glass windows were added to catch the afternoon light.
It is the most sociable of the historic suites: large, level, and with its own doors onto the garden.
